Trek Flash Memory Controller – Overview
Trek Flash Memory Controller
Trek Microcontroller for portable storage is a Flash Memory controller for USB Flash Drive. It provides a high speed bridge for a USB host system to access and manage NAND type Flash Memory array through USB interface. DMA & ECC blocks are included in the controller to improve the transfer performance between USB and Flash Memory.
The USB controller, based on 8032 compatible 8-bit MCU core, provides a USB serial interface engine, USB transceiver, FIFOs, control/status registers, application interface circuit and oscillation circuit. Emulation environment is provided for software development. Coding efficiency is also taken into consideration by some special hardware implementation.
